  • May 18, 2005 - PDCo did a successful performance for the GSA (Tip O'Neill Bldg).  Here's an e-mail from Ben Manzano:

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate the support you all have given me yesterday. Now, I want you to know how GSA and especially the diversity committee appreciated a spectacular performance that PDCo had shown them. Below is an excerpt from the message the Administrator sent to all employees of General Services Administration. Most importantly, he mentioned the group, PDCo.

"Good morning:  Congratulations on another spectacular diversity event!!!  The team continues to produce outstanding programs that are educational, cultural and fun.  You and the team are to be commended for your hard work and dedication to first class events!  Where do I start in lauding the program:  Grace Oh's performance was moving and inspirational, Consul General Masuo Nishibayashi's keynote address was informative and educational,  the Philippine Dance Company of Boston's performance was lively and colorful and the exhibits interesting.  Please extend our congratulations and thanks to the team ! Dennis Smith..."

Again, thank you and hope that we continue performances like this today and in the future.

Sincerely,

Ben

  • April 9, 2005 - Several PDCo officers, members and their families made a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA.  Rochie Panganiban rented (at her own expense) two full size vans to haul the "pilgrims".  Other than being a pilgrim, another exciting thing we did was to eat our food at the rest area while standing in spaces we can find.  Click here to see the pictures.
